To promote professional development and foster an environment of camaraderie within my new fellow grad students in the Statistics Department at Penn State I will be organizing a weekly Cohort Workshop. Since statistics is such a broad and interdisciplinary field we all have our unique backgrounds, and strengths and weaknesses, we have the opportunity to share a wealth of knowledge. Currently we will be deciding topics week to week, but please feel free to request or suggest a topic, especially if you feel confident in leading a short presentation.
